- 04.56pm - Latest Updates
Again,
I apologize for the lack of updates lately. The
truth of the matter is that our
MySpace profile has become the main source for
all Pubcrawlers-related info and, as busy as things
have been lately, it's tough to maintain both. If
you happen to stop by and notice that it's been
a while since this section was updated, please check
the MySpace
right away, and feel free to let
me know that I need to get off my ass and show
some love to the official Web site as well.
In
actual news... well, where to start? The big news
is that the Pubcrawlers are now a ridiculously large
band... our newest member is Ms. Emily Pubcrawler
who joins us on fiddle and is our 10th - count 'em,
10th - member. Previous to that we added Mr. Brian
Pubcrawler who shares vocal duties with Ron. Rest
assured that these are the final additions, but
perfect ones. The site will be updated soon with
pictures of everyone, including Tyler, who is probably
getting fairly pissed off that he still isn't on
here. Again, I would refer everyone to MySpace
for all kinds of picture goodness..
Also,
our new album, One Too Many Again, is complete.
It simply needs to be mastered and will be available
for digital download by Christmas. The pressing
takes some time, so physical CD's will be available
in January.

A couple of announcements
today. First and foremost, we're welcoming a new
face to the Pubcrawlers today - Tyler joins us on
mandolin. We'll hopefully have some new images up
soon so you can check him out.
In other news, we headed into the
studio last night to begin work on "One Too
Many Again," and we can honestly say that this
album is going to blow you away. We're excited to
get the finished product out there and will keep
you posted as it progresses. Expect a big announcement
soon regarding CD release parties (note the plural!)
later on this summer.

- 02.10pm - Thanks for a great weekend!
This
past weekend was very full for us but we had a great
time and played some amazing shows, so thanks to
everyone who came out to either Boru, the Beachcomber
or the Old Port Festival to check us out! Special
thanks to Pat at the Beachcomber for having us,
and to the Prodigals, who are a great band and played an amazing set.

- 06.18pm - More Site Progress & New Album
The
band bio section is now up and functional. It's not 100% complete as you'll see, but we
think it looks pretty cool. Take a look and let us know what you think. By the way, all of
the individual biography info in there is completely, 100% true. We promise.
Also,
we're gearing up to record the bulk of the new record, set to be released this summer. We truly
think that this album is going to rock, and can't wait to share it with you. We'll keep you posted.

You
might have noticed the new splash page when you
entered - that is the official announcement of our
second full-length album, "One Too Many Again,"
which will be released early this summer. If you
haven't checked it out already, you can get a sneak
peek by clicking on the music player in the upper
right-hand corner of this page. More info, including
more album art and track listings, will be coming
shortly.

- 11.22am - New Site
Welcome
to the new home of The Pubcrawlers! Please feel
free to take a look around and let us know what
you think. Some parts of the site are still under
construction but will be available soon. Any questions,
comments and death threats can
be addressed to Andy, since most of this is
his fault anyway.
